Legacy Glass Technicians are the most experienced and meticulous professional installers you will find. Our three technicians have a combined total of 70 years experience installing all types of auto glass including glass in all makes and models of cars, trucks, motorhomes and boats.

We are an Auto Glass Safety Council registered and certified service center. Our Technicians are individually certified by AGSC as well as our sealant manufacturer, Sika. We install correctly the first time, every time.

We are up to date on all installation techniques for today’s most advanced vehicles. Heads up display, lane departure warning, forward collision mitigation, rain sensing wipers, heated windshield or heated wiper parks, and many other items are now integrated to some extent into the windshield or attachments to the windshield. These are complicated systems that can be effected by changing the windshield. In fact, a few manufacturers require replacement be completed only by the dealership on certain vehicles. This is rare, but we honor those requests and tell customers up front that the manufacturer has released a notice recommending replacement by the dealership only. Many shops will not be honest with you in this regard.

Did you know the Windshield is rated by most safety experts to be the third most important safety system in your vehicle? Only the seat belts and airbags are rated higher. In fact, the windshield is integral in supporting the roof in a rollover accident. In addition, the airbags will not function properly if the windshield is not installed properly, as the passenger side especially is dependent upon the windshield to act as a backstop for the airbag in a collision. Unfortunately, it is estimated that 70% of windshields are improperly installed. Because there is no federally required licensing for auto glass installation, anyone can say they are qualified to install auto glass and there is currently no reputable way for the general public to verify the claim.

That is why we voluntarily applied and received certification for our company and our techs from the AGSC. This is one of the only independent certification programs in the country to certify auto glass installation companies. You can find us and our technicians listed on www.safewindshields.org.
